The Role:

Provide a high-level specialty support for the management of engineering and maintenance services to support the efficient and effective operation of the Engineering, Randwick Campus to achieve business and service objective. Lead and manage operations of Engineering Services to facilitate delivery of quality, cost-effective services and the achievement of business and service objectives.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities management or business, or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.

  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to enhance staff performance, influence workplace culture and lead change.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills that lead to the development of innovative solutions to meet workplace needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide input, interpret, monitor, and evaluate policies, procedures and standards.
  • Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
