Security Site Manager- University campus

We are seeking an experienced Security manager to lead and guide a medium size team. This role is designed for a security career professional who leads by example and will be provided the opportunity to work autonomously- applying their broad skill set to a vast array of security operational activities-daily.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Supporting, directing, and co-ordinating small to medium sized teams, including managing incidents and emergencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
• Preparing shift operational briefs and briefing staff.
• Foot Patrols of the campus to observe, report and mange incidents.
• Delivering excellent service performance standards at the campus, whilst developing operational efficiencies and improve performance.
• Work within client & ACESGroup WH&S guidelines.
• Observe facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety.
• Prepare general security records and reports.
• Manage and provide facility access control.

Skills and experience:

• Security License (NSW 1A), minimum 3years* (*or equivalent)
• Experience managing a small to medium size team.
• Customer service experience (demonstrated customer centric approach).
• Demonstrated CCTV operational experience including using a range of technical systems
• Customer service experience
• Superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Exceptional personal presentation
• Reliability and punctuality
• Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
• First Aid and CPR (current)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) (current or willing to obtain)
• White Card (or willing to obtain)
• Fire Warden (or willing to obtain)
• Working With Children Check
