UON's business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON's Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.

About The Opportunity:

UON are currently looking for a seasoned Strategy & Business Development Manager to join the corporate team at our Head Office in Perth WA.

  • Responsible for driving the organisations growth and sales activities
  • Develop and execute strategic business & sales initiatives
  • Identify and optimise long-term revenue growth opportunities
  • Be part of an industry leader specialising in energy and water solutions to the mining and resources sector

About You:

This position will suit an exceptional communicator and strategic thinker who has experience of working within the mining services and renewable energy industry. A business development professional who sees the "big picture" and can implement ideas and concepts. With demonstrable experience where you thrive on finding solutions at a Senior level, with your "can-do" mindset constantly looking to maximise growth opportunities for the business to remain the industries preferred supplier.

  • Exceptional communication skills (written/interpersonal).
  • Strategic critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • The ability to use initiative and provide guidance to the team in reaching appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain and present accurate records, reports, roadmaps and track market trends.
  • Organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple departments, to identify marketing campaigns and optimise positive collaboration with UON Leaders, customers and stakeholders (internal and external).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years' industry experience working in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales leadership, and change management.
  • Demonstrated experience with strategy development, exaction, monitoring and reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, or a related discipline (MBA highly regarded).
  • Experience within Mining services and Renewable industry is desirable.
  • Experience with international supply chains and customers.

Qualification Desired:

  • MBA – Business Administration Management, or a related discipline.
