Are you an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for Trauma Care and the expertise to make a difference in the lives of critically injured patients? As a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Trauma, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the care of trauma patients, offering Clinical Leadership, Education and expert guidance to nursing staff in a high-acuity environment.

This is a fast paced environment which will see you participate in multidisciplinary trauma rounds, working closely with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and other specialists. You will conduct clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes whilst developing and delivering educational programs and training sessions on trauma care, including ongoing professional development for the nursing team.

What you will bring to the role:

• Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA with a minimum five (5) years postgraduate experience and a minimum of three (3) full time experience in Critical Care.
• Post graduate Qualifications in Critical Care nursing.
• Clear and demonstrated ability to form functional working partnerships with key service stakeholders, within a multidisciplinary context.
• Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, analysis, review, evaluation and redevelopment of service programs, policy, procedures and education strategies, within a multidisciplinary context, related to the speciality area.
• Clear ability to utilise Health Improvement principles in practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Demonstrated professional leadership qualities.
• Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
