Shape portfolio delivery by driving project resource planning, project delivery governance, insights, and ServiceNow adoption in a collaborative team. This pivotal role drives resource visibility, assurance, and delivery success at the heart of the Project Delivery Group.

What will your typical day look like?

As the custodian of ITS Project Resource Management, you'll oversee the accurate, timely allocation of hundreds of ITS staff across our project portfolio. You'll collaborate with Resourcing, Portfolio, and Project Managers to optimise allocations, resolve resource conflicts, and ensure ServiceNow SPM remains our single source of truth.

Specifically you will:

  • Lead quarterly portfolio prioritisation and planning workshops with senior stakeholders, providing insights on resource gaps, risks, and capacity.
  • Maintain and improve ServiceNow Resource Plans, aligning new features with stakeholder needs.
  • Conduct stage gate reviews using your agile and waterfall expertise to assess compliance, manage risks, and guide project managers through Project Delivery Process (PDP) and Technology Operating Model (TOM).
  • Support audit readiness by preparing documentation, coordinating with IT Risk & Compliance, and handling auditor queries.
  • Deliver clear, timely dashboards via ServiceNow Platform Analytics and Power BI, automating workflows with Power Automate to boost portfolio visibility.
  • Occasionally, you may directly manage projects.

About the team.

You'll be joining a large group of Project Managers, Portfolio Leads and Business Analysts within the ITS Project Delivery Group. The team is known for its supportive and collaborative culture, working across a diverse portfolio of enterprise-wide initiatives that service the Firm's internal Business Units.  You'll be surrounded by experienced professionals who value knowledge sharing, mentorship, and delivering impactful outcomes.

Enough about us, let's talk about you. 

  • Experience managing resource planning, portfolio governance, and PMO operations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across senior leadership and delivery teams.
  • Experience in ServiceNow SPM, with a strong focus on the Resource Management module is highly regarded 
  • Experience in Power BI dashboard development and ServiceNow Platform Analytics is highly regarded 
  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to facilitate workshops, guide discussions, and provide clear recommendations.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to balance governance requirements and practical delivery outcomes.
  • Solid understanding of project management processes across both waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project stage gate reviews, audit readiness, and assurance activities.
  • Experience automating reporting workflows through Power Automate.
  • Ability to present complex data as actionable insights to support decision-making
