This hugely successful global multinational is a market leader in its industry, renowned for its forward-thinking strategy, innovation, and world-renowned brands.

Due to an international secondment, the business is seeking a technically sound Group Financial Controller. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving sound financial reporting, implementing process improvements, and fostering a positive team culture both locally and with offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial reporting in accordance with global reporting timetables, ensuring compliance with listing requirements
  • Manage and review the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of consolidated financial results.
  • Prepare and review statutory and management financial statements
  • Enhance the performance and relationships off-shore finance team
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee treasury operations as well as tax compliance and reporting
  • Manage audit processes, serving as the key liaison for both external and internal audits
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Maintain integrity and drive output from SAP and HFM

Key Criteria to be considered:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • This role would suit a Big 4 second mover with a strong technical background looking to for a step up in their career.
  • Tangible examples of implementing process improvement initiatives
  • SAP experience is advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information
  • Proven ability to motivate, manage, and develop a finance team.
