We are looking for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils and put them away neatly.
  • Keep the kitchen, including floors and surfaces, clean and rubbish-free.
  • Empty bins regularly and make sure rubbish is sorted for recycling.
  • Clean appliances and machines according to the cleaning schedule.
  • Report any damages or issues with kitchen equipment to your supervisor.

Food Preparation:

  • Help chefs with tasks like food preparation.
  • Prepare the ingredients by measuring and getting them ready for the chefs.
  • Keep the food preparation areas clean and organised.
  • Learn to do cooking jobs following our recipes.
  • Always follow safe food handling practices.

Stock Control:

  • Put away deliveries of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Make sure all stock is in the right place and used before the use-by date.
  • Inform the supervisor when supplies are low so they can order more.
  • Help with stocktaking by counting items when asked.
  • Keep storage areas tidy and clean.

Team Support:

  • Work well with the kitchen team and help when it gets busy.
  • Follow instructions from chefs and other kitchen team members. Be ready to learn new things and take on different jobs if needed.
  • Keep a positive attitude, even when doing routine tasks.
  • Make sure you always show up for work on time and ready to help.

Qualities Needed:

  • Be reliable and willing to work hard.
  • Pay attention to detail, especially when cleaning.
  • Be able to work quickly and stay calm when it's busy.
  • Listen to your teammates and learn from them.
  • Be friendly and respectful to everyone in the restaurant.

Qualifications Needed:

  • Food Handler Basics Training

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
