Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Business Development Manager (BDM) located in Melbourne, VIC, with some work from home acceptable. The BDM will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and managing the sales pipeline. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, preparing sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms, collaborating with the project team, and achieving sales targets. The BDM will also be responsible for attending industry events and representing the company to potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Strong market research, client relationship management, and sales pipeline management skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of commercial flooring solutions or relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
