As a Senior Sales Manager, you will lead, develop and coach Mentimeter team members, build on the success that we have and strengthen the team by providing new perspectives, business acumen and sales excellence. The role will help ensure that we build a transparent, collaborative, competent, and well-functioning Sales Team together with other Sales Managers and Leadership teams.

We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager with experience in leading successful Customer Success teams in the APAC market.

As a Senior Sales Manager at Mentimeter, you focus primarily on working with a Customer Success team to overachieve their ARR goals, tasks related to managing a team such as development talks, employee administration and recruitment, and tactics development and implementation.

To thrive in this role you need to be motivated by team goal setting and overachievement, developing teams, coaching others, having valuable experience in the above area, and having a structured approach towards administrative tasks.

Responsibilities For The Role

  • Set and track sales targets, forecasting revenue and managing budgets
  • Analyse sales performance metrics and report progress to the leadership team
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve sales goals
  • Development of your team (Line Manager responsibilities):

  • Ensure the personal and career development of each team member

  • Lead performance management, promotion and career development decisions
  • Set and monitor salaries for team members

  • Lead operational work of your team (Team Lead responsibilities):

  • Provide daily and weekly coaching to team members to help them develop

  • Set goals and guide the team towards their achievement
  • Manage team performance and ensure the team is meeting their objectives

  • Recruitment: process, hiring decision and onboarding:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent

  • Screen and evaluate candidates to ensure the right fit for the team
  • Onboard new hires and ensure a smooth integration into the team

  • Ensure sure we build a transparent, collaborative, competent and well functioning team:

  • Build a collaborative and inclusive team culture

  • Foster transparency, communication and teamwork across the organization

  • Influencing and inspiring others:

  • Mentor and lead others with visible business impact

  • Drive initiatives and changes that deliver results
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, creativity, and teamwork

Must Have

  • Previous line management and team leader experience in a Sales Team
  • Experience selling B2B software solutions into the SaaS market or similar market
  • Experience in leading a team with any of the role-specific areas listed above
  • Experience with working with KPIs and OKRs
  • Ability to work with data for decision-making and scaling actions for effective results
  • Proven track record in customer/stakeholder relationship management as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets in the APAC market
  • Strong negotiation, and collaboration skills as well as a proven track record of building strong teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English
