About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Professional with strong expertise in
communications, social media, and community engagement. This role is essential in
strengthening our connection with patients as well as doctors, the wider community, and
multicultural stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver strategic communication and PR campaigns.
- Manage the practice's presence across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with proven
strategies to engage and grow audiences.
- Organize and manage community health events, awareness campaigns, and practice
programs.
- Build strong relationships with media, health networks, and multicultural community
organizations.
- Produce professional reports, articles, announcements, and promotional content.
- Support senior management through campaign planning, consulting, and strategic
communications advice.
- Explore and apply emerging tools, including AI-based communication technologies, to
enhance engagement.
- Advise senior leaders on how their strategies and initiatives may affect public perception
and reputation.
- Draft and oversee the release of official announcements, news, press releases and media
statements.
- Conduct and commission surveys on community attitudes and interpreting the findings to
inform decision-making.
Remuneration:
$80,000 Salary
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3+ years' experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram,
LinkedIn).
- Proven ability in event organization and public engagement activities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field or MBA certificate.
- Minimum 3+ years' work experience, including experience in large or multinational
organisations.
- Strong background in customer engagement, crisis communication, and relationship
management.
- Skilled in both strategic planning (campaign design, stakeholder relations) and practical
delivery (content creation, media management, event execution).
- Strong communication and writing skills, with experience preparing professional
statements and reports.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence tools to communication and marketing activities.
- Commitment to long-term work in the Tamworth regional community.
