We are seeking an experienced
Contract Administrator
to support a BESS project.

About the Role

  • Supporting the tender evaluation process for project packages.
  • Providing ongoing commercial support, ensuring that suppliers, vendors and sub-contractors engaged in support of the project are adhering to the terms under which they were engaged.
  • Directly administering contracts in support of project deliverables, ensuring that budgets are met.
  • Ensuring all commercial activity follows the guidelines specified by the Project Management Plan.
  • Ensuring tender documentation adheres to the quality management plan.
  • Effectively managing the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts.
  • Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation and review of the project monthly report including providing workings completed, program and cost data.
  • Negotiate contract terms, conditions and pricing and follow up to ensure execution according to the negotiated terms.
  • Expediting process of contract execution, procurement, logistics.
  • Working closing with multi-disciplinary project team.

About You

  • Previous Contract Administration experience in the Construction industry.
  • Proven experience with Tier 1 contractors.
  • Ability to manage a number of packages simultaneously.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying / Commerce / Construction Management / Economics / Law / Business.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage relationships.
  • The ability to work in as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to notice errors.
