A senior leadership opportunity now exists for an
Executive Manager, Finance
to lead the finance function of
Eighty9
, a values-led, commercially focused not-for-profit headquartered in Hindmarsh, who delivers employment, training and support services to people living with disability or disadvantage. With a HQ renovation underway and a major new national contract launched, the Organisation is entering a significant growth phase and requires a seasoned finance leader to ensure the business is structurally and financially ready for its next stage.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and through to the Finance Director (Board), the Executive Manager, Finance will be responsible for financial strategy, budgeting and forecasting, statutory and management reporting, cashflow, compliance and internal controls. You will lead a team of seven across payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and administration, lifting technical capability and driving continuous improvement in systems, processes and reporting disciplines.

To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience leading finance in a complex service-based organisation, and be comfortable operating in a high-performing, service driven organisation where commercial acumen is essential to delivering social impact. Technically strong and hands-on, you'll demonstrate excellent attention to detail, a mature and grounded leadership style and, the ability to work closely with the CEO, board, auditors and operational leaders.

Preferably, you will be CA/CPA qualified, with strong management and financial accounting skills and the confidence to lead a capable but developing team. Experience with FBT and NFP salary packaging is advantageous but can be learnt; more important is your ability to bring structure, clarity and reliability to the finance function while aligning with Eighty9's values and purpose.
