About the opportunity:

The Marketing Manager Brand and Campaigns is a senior member of the team, accountable to the Head of Marketing and Member Experience. The role manages a small team providing leadership and direction for the delivery of operational and strategic work. KPIs will include maintaining business targets for member communications, retention and funds under management uplift through targeted, relevant and cut through communications that increase members' financial literacy and give them the confidence to make informed decisions on their retirement future. This is a hands on role including strategic planning, budget management, external supplier liaison, staff management, post campaign analysis and reporting.

Special conditions:
This is a fixed-term opportunity up to March 2027 to support operational continuity.

About you

The successful applicant will be a motivated and experienced marketer that has both a creative mindset and an analytical approach thanks to significant experience in Marketing roles and/or advertising agencies. They will work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team and know when to let the team run with an idea and when to use their experience to help guide a campaign concept to where it needs to go both creatively and from a measurable aspect. They will have the confidence to back their ideas but be willing to ask questions and seek guidance when unsure of next steps.

To be successful, you must address the selection criteria below in a cover letter:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Branding, Customer Experience or related fields, or, minimum 3 years' experience working in a Marketing, Branding, Customer Experience role as a leader with direct reports.
  • Experience working within a financial or superannuation entity, or like regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage entire marketing and engagement processes from planning, drafting, proofing, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders, production and distribution, and the analysis and evaluation of the results of engagement activities.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks within a fast paced changing environment and to foster commitment to ongoing business needs.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and/or political issues and negotiate with tact and diplomacy.
  • Proven ability to work methodically and accurately and to review processes for optimal efficiency.

Remuneration

ASO7 – $108,109 min - $116,864 max per annum, plus superannuation
