We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Customer Service & Kitchen Manager to oversee client service, operational logistics, and internal team coordination. This full-time role offers hybrid working flexibility, with the ability to work from home on select days.
About the Role
This is a key leadership role that sits at the intersection of customer care, kitchen coordination, and operational excellence. You will manage our sales inbox and order pipeline, ensure seamless communication between customers and kitchen staff, and help maintain a positive, inclusive team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
Customer Service and Sales Support
- Manage the sales inbox and respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Process catering orders, quotes, and invoices
- Liaise with clients to confirm event requirements and ensure a high-quality customer experience
- Maintain and grow client relationships
Operations and Logistics
- Coordinate kitchen production schedules and daily/weekly run sheets
- Plan delivery logistics in collaboration with the kitchen and delivery teams
- Support supplier ordering and stock control
Food Safety and Compliance
- Assist with maintaining and implementing HACCP protocols
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and record-keeping
Team and Culture Management
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Support communication between kitchen and administration teams
- Promote team accountability, respect, and collaboration
- Contribute to staff training, development, and well-being
About You
You are a natural problem-solver with a strong background in hospitality, food service, or catering operations. You lead with empathy, value strong systems, and are passionate about creating a positive experience for both customers and team members.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or operations management
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using order management systems, inbox tools, and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards (or willingness to learn)
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination experience
- A values-led approach and respect for cultural diversity
