About the role:

Working alongside our wine team, you will be pivotal in the further development and maintenance of our group wine program.

List creation and maintenance is part of this role but the primary focus is staff training and wine sales, this is not a role for someone who wants to sit in an office and create the best wine list ever.

This is a diverse hands-on operational role for a sales focused, training and service superstar, someone who wants to help give our clients the best possible experience every day.

Aside from training the team, working the floor and selling wine you will be responsible for overseeing ordering and stock control.

Working as part of a passionate and collaborative team based at Farmers Daughters in Collins Street you will have support from the group managers, restaurant manager, wine team and operations team.

Your input will be valued, your ideas listened to and your contribution rewarded.

About you:

You have an infectious passion for wine and a natural flair for training and customer service, you are professional and always well-presented, with demonstrated experience in a similar wine focussed role, preferably with a strong focus on Victorian wine.

Existing relationships within the Victorian wine industry network is to advantage.

You will be a clear and confident communicator, experienced in working with wine representatives, delivering staff training, buying and stock control. Someone who understands that flexibility is key, as you'll need to be available to work evenings and weekends.

Barra and Morena showcase the diverse range of cuisines from across Latin American cultures. Our goal is to elevate Australia's engagement with Latin America, whilst staying true to the flavours and techniques that represent Latin cuisine.
