We are seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join our team across two exceptional venues within Rodd & Gunn's Melbourne flagship:
The Lodge Dining Room (Level 1) – An impressive fine dining destination led by Michelin-starred Executive Chef Matt Lambert and Head Chef James Evangelinos. With menus curated alongside Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas, The Lodge delivers an immersive dining journey celebrating the best of New Zealand and Australian produce.
Mezzanine, The Member's Bar – A moody, Art Deco-inspired retreat reserved exclusively for loyalty clientele and restaurant patrons. Guests enjoy distinctive classic cocktails, premium wines, and refined snacks in an elegant, club-like setting.
We are hiring now for a Sommelier/ Junior Sommelier:
What We're Looking For
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience at the highest level.
- Experience as Sommelier / Wine Waiter in a Hatted or Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Professional presentation, confidence, and excellent communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails (with a willingness to learn from world-class mentors).
- Team players who thrive in a fast-paced, refined environment.
- Possess a valid Certificate of Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- WSET or CMS qualification or equivalent advantageous.
- Full Australian work rights.
