Mayver's Sales Order Co-Ordinator

Please note – This is a full time onsite role based in our warehouse distribution centre at Altona North, Victoria (not hybrid). Role is Monday to Friday full time, commencing at 6am

As we continue to grow and expand our product ranges, we're seeking a Major Retail Sales Order Co-Ordinator who will play a vital role in supporting the growth of our Family Owned and Australian Made business.

Position Overview:

Mayver's Foods is seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as a Major Retail Sales Order Co-Ordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless communication and support for our valued customers and cross functional team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Order Management:

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Coordinate order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery to customers and consumers.

• Monitor inventory levels to prevent out of stocks and manage backorders effectively.

Logistics Management:

• Coordinate with logistics partners to arrange shipments and deliveries on time and in full.

• Responsible for all logistics paperwork, ensuring all correct paperwork is provided and is accurate to ensure no DC rejections

• Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays promptly.

• Optimise logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Customer Service:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for major retail order and delivery inquiries and concerns.

• Responsible for all general office administration and filing

• Provide exceptional service by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.

• Handle customer complaints with empathy and work towards satisfactory and professional resolutions.

Communication:

• Answer phone calls and respond to customer emails in a prompt and timely manner.

• Keep customers informed about order status, shipping updates, and product information.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on customer-related matters.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the sales team to support customer relationships and sales initiatives.

• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to maintain smooth operations and meet customer demand.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively contributing to team efforts and Mayver's team culture

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in major retail customer service, order management, or logistics coordination highly preferred.
• Previous experience working with Coles, Woolworths and Aldi in food manufacturing, responsible for order processing and transport coordination
• Tertiary qualifications highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and IT software for order processing and communication.
• A customer-centric mindset and a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and grow.
