Their Thomastown-based operation plays a crucial role in managing the flow of materials and documentation, and they are now looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join the team. This role is a full-time casual position Mon - Fri, with the view to permanency for the right candidate.

Casual Hourly Rate: $40.00

About the Role:

We're looking for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join the logistics team and help ensure the smooth running of supply and inventory operations. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for managing orders, tracking deliveries, liaising with suppliers, and keeping everything in order to meet the needs of the business. You'll also play a key role in maintaining sustainability and compliance standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a global supply chain for a leading automotive supplier with real variety in your day-to-day tasks.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS

  • Update and manage the in house MRP models every month for Creation of Purchase Contracts.
  • Compile the product quality inspection reports and report to management on monthly basis.
  • Diligently check every supplier delivery for all the required documentations including lab report, compliance and EUDR
  • Monitor and communicate supplier performance. Report all overdue and early shipments.
  • Preparation of market intelligence and buying reports and graphs.

SUSTAINABILITY

  • Enable supply chain sustainability excellence.
  • Work with R&D/Supply Chain Engineer to respond to customer requests on Due Diligence, Compliance with various regulations.
  • Lead the activities towards EUDR compliance for every supplier.

CHEMICALS

  • Enable precise inventory management for chemicals.
  • Work with supplier to closely monitor the shipment batches to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and communicate supplier delivery performance regarding meeting specific dispatch timing. Report all overdue and early shipments.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2–3 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experienced in Material Requirements Planning MRP 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Experience or interest in compliance or sustainability (EUDR, SDS, etc.)
