About the Role

We're seeking a motivated, organised, and hands-on Project Coordinator / Manager with a solid understanding of cabinet making processes. You'll be responsible for managing multiple projects from concept through to completion, liaising with clients, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring materials are ordered and jobs are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project coordination for cabinet making jobs.

  • Liaise directly with clients, builders, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.

  • Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails, providing professional and accurate information.

  • Ensure all projects are completed within deadlines, budgets, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and handle after-installation service requests.

  • Order stock and materials from a variety of suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

  • Maintain detailed records of project timelines, job progress, and supplier communications.

  • Use computer applications such as email, spreadsheets, and project management tools for scheduling and reporting.

  • Anticipate potential project risks and proactively manage solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in the cabinet making industry (or a closely related field) is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of cabinet construction, joinery terminology, and production workflows.

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and job scheduling systems.

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with clients, tradespeople, and suppliers.

  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with the production team.

Desirable

  • Experience with CAD drawings or cabinet design software (e.g., CabMaster) is a bonus.

  • Familiarity with ordering systems and supplier portals.
