We’re looking for a passionate **Social Media Marketing Coordinator** to join our team and help us grow our online presence, engage with our community, drive sales and showcase our exciting range of products.

**About the Role**

As our Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in developing and executing strategies that enhance Maker Store’s brand visibility, foster engagement with our audience and drive traffic. This position requires creativity, accountability, and a proactive mindset. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to create compelling content, drive sales, analyse performance metrics, and connect with our vibrant maker community.

To be successful you should be outcome outcome-orientated with proven ability to drive social media objectives, have a strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and best practices.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and Execute social media strategies in close coordination with General Manager.
- Identify new marketing opportunities to increase brand awareness, customer nurturing, and sales.
- Monitor analytics to optimise campaigns and content, reporting key insights to improve performance.

**Content Creation and Coordination**
- Liaise with external graphic designers and video editors to produce high-quality media when required.
- Generate and schedule unique and engaging posts that highlight Maker Store products, store updates, projects, sales, testimonials and community stories.
- Assist in website content creation as needed.

**Community Engagement**
- Reach out and build relationships with influencers, customers, and partners to expand brand reach.
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and enquiries promptly.

**Campaign Management**

**Collaboration and Coordination**
- Work across departments, and international branches to develop innovative content ideas.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred, but not essential if you have proven relevant experience.
- Proven experience in social media management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in video and photo editing software (other than Canva and CapCut)
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- Good understanding of Social Media KPIs.
- Understanding of consumer behaviour
- Meta Ads is desirable, Google Ads experience is a plus.
