Maker Store is an online precision engineering hardware store, specializing in solutions, parts, and kits for engineering projects including CNC machines, 3D printers, Vacuum Forming, Laser Cutting/Etching, 3D Scanners, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Electronics, and more

This is an **entry level role** for a **Social Media Coordinator Junior** who lives and breathes social media to be based in our Australian office. We’re after someone who has the ability to think creatively, run the company’s social media channels in coordination with Social Media Manager, develop engaging social media content and able to carry out tasks.

To be successful you should be outcome orientated with proven ability to drive social media objectives and have a strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and best practices.

**Main Duties**:

- Assisting the Social Media Manager with planning and executing social media strategies.
- Assisting in uploading/scheduling posts and videos to the company’s social media channels.
- Assisting in creating high-quality social media and web content including:

- Graphic design creation using a range of programs.
- Video content creation and editing.
- Images and Media for e-commerce.
- Generating copy for posts.
- Understanding and assisting in reporting on the analytics for social media posts.
- Assisting in growing the company’s online presence and brand awareness by:

- Building strong relationships with our online community.
- Working with influencers to further grow our brand.

**Requirements, skills and experience**:

- Ability to think creatively and develop engaging content.
- Have an understanding of tasks that is required from a **Social Media Coordinator Junior**.
- Outcome orientated with a proven ability to drive social media objectives.
- High attention to detail.
- A strong “**can do**” and **proactive attitude**.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends and best practices.
- Good understanding of social media KPIs.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Is a “**do-er**” and can show a portfolio of related work they have done so far.
- Ability to do graphic design for social media and website.

Desirable skills include (not a deal breaker):

- Knowledge of WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of how to utilise AI for content such as chatGPT, MidJourney, Eleven Labs etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
