The Opportunity:

Joining our business development team, you will proactively build strong relationships with architects and designers to keep Criterion top of mind and specified at every opportunity. Stepping into this role, you will utilise your experience servicing the construction industry to learn our corner of the market and establish processes to implement within your team.

Our ideal candidate has had prior experience in the Building and Construction Industry or manufacturing resulting in partnering with architects and designers. Regarding our product, don't worry - a detailed training program will be provided to get you up-to-speed

Responsibilities include:

  • Engage in regular communication with clients, working to build strong client relationships
  • Proactively build strong relationships with architects and designers to keep Criterion top of mind and specified at every opportunity.
  • Stay on top of new industry trends, products and services to provide valuable insights to clients
  • Provide expert guidance on Criterion products and keep designers updated on product updates and releases.
  • Attend industry events to network and promote the Criterion brand.
  • Engage with key stakeholders like acoustic engineers and builders to reinforce Criterion's presence in projects.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records and reporting on key performance metrics
  • Prepare reports on opportunities identified, validated and secured

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you will bring your ability to act as a trusted advisor and partner, holding a deep understanding of the products and their technical capabilities (knowledge of acoustics is highly regarded but not essential). Ideally, you will have experience in the manufacturing or construction industries (again, not essential). This role requires travel around Brisbane and surrounding areas with the odd travel to north qld.
