About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Technical Specification Manager to join their Brisbane team, focusing on insulation across major commercial projects. This technical role involves working closely with the construction industry to encourage specifications. While technical knowledge is an advantage, full training and engineering support are provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residential builders and commercial project teams across major projects.
  • Promote insulation systems.
  • Identify and track opportunities in Brisbane, ensuring products are specified.
  • Provide technical guidance and solutions, supported by  engineering team and training resources.
  • Comfortable building and leading a team
  • Represent client at industry events, presentations, and client meetings.
  • Manage your own schedule with flexibility, while collaborating with the Brisbane office and wider specification team nationally.
  • Undertake occasional Australia and New Zealand.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a client-facing, technical, or business development role.
  • Background in architecture, interiors, construction, or sales (BDM experience welcome).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to engage at all levels.
  • Energetic, proactive, and adaptable with a genuine interest in the design and construction industry.
  • Networks within the construction industry are advantageous .
