This management position has become available and we are inviting qualified applicants who are experienced sales leaders to drive and manage Sales/Marketing business plans and strategies that shape our future growth and planned expansion program.

Reporting to the Managing Director and being a key member of the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will have a proven record of achievement and demonstrate the ability to fulfill the following criteria and responsibilities.

Knowledge and understanding of the paint and coatings sector and a proven record of success in the relevant channels and categories.

Ability to lead, inspire and direct a team of sales professionals and Key Account Managers.

Track record of high achievement in relationship selling, negotiation of trading terms and development and roll-out of Sales/Marketing strategy with an entrepreneurial mindset (Previous experience using CRM will be desirable).

Business Planning and presentation skills of the highest standard.

Innovative and energetic 'lead by example' personal style.

Attention to detail…. thorough analytical and organisation skills (e.g. preparation and delivery of regular key account reviews/ Sales and Profit Budgeting/ Forecasting).

Leadership and development of sales team, especially in account management, planning, product knowledge, technical training and sales promotion.

Market Intelligence and competitive activity response/ total knowledge and understanding of all business channels.

Personal attributes and qualities ….strong hands on leading by example, energy, drive, enthusiasm, problem solving and decision making ability, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, digital literacy, intelligent listener, accomplished negotiator, results and customer focused, ability to relate at all levels and work with team approach internally. This role is based in the Melbourne Head Office at Hallam, noting travel & infield presence required. Remuneration and benefits reflect the seniority and responsibility of this position.
