Sales Consultant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Consultant to join our Internal Sales Team based at our Hallam office on a full time basis.

This is a permanent position with job security for long term employment with a company that has been operating for over 30 years.

• Managing the lifecycle of sales orders from quote stage, right through to delivery or pick up
• Answering inbound phone enquires and orders
• Front counter sales and quoting
• Responding to email enquires and quote requests
• Managing website orders
• Liaising with suppliers to quote customers and source stock when required
• Liaising with warehouse and fabrication departments to ensure accurate and prompt orders
• Work as part of a team

• Tech savvy and have a good understanding of computer systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Good multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Willingness to learn and give anything a go
• A background in the steel industry and general knowledge of steel is preferred, but not essential
