The Job

Our onsite Café Inc and catering functions are undergoing growth in demand, as we expand catering offerings, and Café Inc continues to grow as an icon of inclusivity, serving the local community.

We're on the hunt for a passionate, and cool-headed Chef, with creative flare and a knack for creating bold and nutritious meals that meet a broad range of dietary requirements and tastes.

What You'll Achieve

  • You'll craft quality, nutritious meals to meet diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Assist with the design of contemporary and flexible menu options.
  • Support and guide kitchen hand staff to provide top food and service.
  • Keep your cool under pressure, while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Ensure stocks are ordered, rotated and recorded.
  • Comply with food handling hygiene practices and maintain compliant documentation.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Significant experience as a Chef working in Hospitality or Catering environments.
  • A structured and methodical approach to managing time and priorities.
  • Experience contributing to menu creation and catering options
  • A natural mentor who is positive, patient and supportive
  • Certificate III in Cookery
