We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team and drive new business opportunities.
Role Overview
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and contributing to the overall growth and success of our company. Reporting to the General Manager, your primary responsibility will be to secure new contracts and foster long-lasting relationships with client organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify Opportunities: Proactively seek and pursue new business opportunities with potential commercial and industrial clients.
- Strategic Sales Plans: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new contracts.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare detailed proposals and presentations that effectively showcase our services and capabilities.
- Collaborate with Operations: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery for new clients.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and the latest technologies/methods in commercial and industrial cleaning.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in new business development, preferably within the commercial or industrial cleaning sector.
- Sales Skills: Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Organization: Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Self-Starter: Motivated and proactive approach to sales, demonstrating persistence and initiative.
- Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in business, sales, or a related field.
- Critical Thinking: A strong critical thinker with the ability to execute effective strategies.
- Tender Preparation: Experience in preparing tenders is desirable, with the ability to deliver proposals in various settings, from one-on-one meetings to boardroom presentations.
