We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Lifestyle Coordinator at our Gertrude Abbott home in Surry Hills where you can enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, 9am to 5pm.

About the role

As part of the Leadership Team, you'll design and deliver creative and meaningful lifestyle programs that support the emotional, social, recreational, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and facilitating individual and group activities tailored to resident preferences
  • Conducting lifestyle assessments to understand residents' backgrounds, needs and interests
  • Planning and delivering innovative events and experiences, involving families, volunteers and the wider community
  • Leading and supporting the lifestyle team with coaching, mentoring and day-to-day guidance
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive and respectful environment aligned with Catholic Healthcare's values and policies

What You'll Bring

  • A genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older people
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or similar qualification)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Respect for diversity, cultural backgrounds and individual beliefs
  • Confident with technology and able to use digital systems effectively
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening
