Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Teacher

Permanent Full-Time Position – Commencing January 2026

We are seeking a passionate and innovative TAS Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: Design & Technology, Timber, and/or Construction.

You will deliver engaging and effective lessons, support students in their learning journey, and contribute to their academic success and pastoral care. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in teaching are essential.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of:

·  Ability to teach TAS Stages 4-6

·  Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies

·  Provide a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students

·   Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning

·   Developing teaching programs and assessments across all stages is preferred but not essential

·  Working collaboratively in an English Faculty

·   Ability to implement new syllabi

·  Willingness to teach in an additional Key Learning Area (KLA) is desirable

·  Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment

·  Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes

·  Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning.
