Stellar Experiences is seeking a fun and friendly Disability Support Worker to join our team. We provide social outings and overnights to people with mild to moderate disabilities between the ages of 16-35.

Key Responsibilities include:

Facilitate group based social outings and recreational activities for our guests.

Assist guests with 1:1 goal based support to improve their independent living skills.

Promote social interaction, inclusion, and community participation.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests and encourage independence and self-advocacy skills while offering appropriate levels of assistance.

Requirements:

Certification or willingness to obtain certification in First Aid and CPR.

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.

Previous experience working in disability support is not required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with people.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

Permanentt Part Time. This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hours are often flexible.

Work environments may include guests' homes, community settings, and recreational venues.
