About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll provide tailored assistance to individuals with disability, neurodivergence, and complex needs. Your role may include:

  • Providing in-home and community-based support
  • Assisting with daily routines, emotional regulation, and social engagement
  • Supporting clients to access activities, appointments, and outings
  • Encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence
  • Collaborating with families, carers, and team leaders to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintaining accurate, respectful documentation and communication

We're Looking For
  • A calm, compassionate presence with a person-led, strengths-based approach
  • Experience or understanding of physical disabilities, autism, ADHD, anxiety, and sensory needs
  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to follow detailed support plans and adapt to individual needs
  • Respect for client dignity, privacy, and autonomy
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical practice

Requirements
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Driver's licence, comprehensive insurance and a reliable vehicle
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as per current health guidelines)
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in disability, mental health, aged care, or community services (desirable but not essential)
