What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain Funlab's cloud infrastructure, ensuring it's secure, scalable, and reliable.
  • Monitor and optimise system performance, troubleshoot issues, and deliver solutions that keep operations humming.
  • Lead and support multiple cloud projects from planning through delivery, aligning outcomes with business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders - translating complex tech into clear, actionable plans.
  • Drive automation, performance monitoring, and security best practices across our platforms.
  • Contribute to business resilience through disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.
  • Mentor and upskill the service desk team, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

What You've Got

  • 3+ years' experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure management (Azure or similar environment preferred).
  • Proven hands-on experience managing PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Strong background in Windows/Linux server administration, networking, and virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V, or containerisation such as Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
  • Solid grasp of cybersecurity principles, monitoring tools, and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Organised multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, fun-filled environment with a "get-it-done" mindset.
  • A collaborative, curious attitude and a genuine passion for keeping systems (and people) performing at their best.
