About the role
At Slater and Gordon, we're modernising the way we work by building secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud platforms. We're looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineer to help design, build and operate the foundations that power our applications and services
What you'll do?
- Design and evolve our Azure and AWS cloud environments, making them secure, scalable, and cost effective.
- Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep, with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or Bitbucket.
- Implement robust networking, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor performance, resolve incidents, and continuously improve reliability.
- Work closely with engineering, security, and legal teams to ensure compliance and protect client data.
What will you bring?
You'll bring strong Azure expertise, with AWS experience highly regarded. You have proven skills in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep) and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Python. You're confident with networking, identity management, and cloud security best practices, and you have experience working with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Just as importantly, you're a clear communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
