Total Plant Hire is currently seeking a casual Delivery Driver to join our team, where you will be required to undertake the delivery and collection of light vehicles, trucks and general freight from our workshop located in Pinjarra to our customers within the Perth metro area.

This is a casual position with the view to permanency for the right person.

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

  • Undertake 1-2 daily trips to Perth from Pinjarra return.
  • Delivery and collection of light vehicle, trucks and general freight to customers within the metro area.
  • Managing the loading & unloading of deliveries as necessary and within WA legislation requirements.
  • Safely operate and conduct regular vehicle checks of your assigned vehicle, pre-starts and complying with OSH legislation.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanness at all times.
  • Complete and maintain all delivery documentation.
  • Working with the service team to achieve daily operational requirements.
  • Perform tasks according to TPH safety policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you are required to demonstrate:

  • Minimum HR licence.
  • Forklift licence preferred though not essential.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in truck driving and securing of loads as per Load Restraint Guide NTC.
  • The ability to work independently or within a small team environment.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise work.
  • A strong commitment to safety and site-specific procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
