Position 1: Classroom Trainer & Assessor

(Monday, Wednesday & Thursday)

  • 27 Hours per week (Minimum)
  • Three day classroom delivery structure

Position 2: Manual Handling Trainer & Assessor

( Timetabled Tuesday and Fridays )

  • Manual Handling
  • Additional hours available to suitable candidate

We are currently looking to secure two (2) Aged Care Trainer and Assessor responsible for the classroom delivery of the Certificate III in Individual Support based at our Mandurah classroom as well as a Manual Handling specialist trainer.

Australian Employment And Training Services is rapidly expanding its delivery of training and requires an industry experienced trainer with sound vocational experience within the Aged Care industry.

Position 1 requires the successful candidate to deliver the Certificate III in Individual Support to students in the Mandurah and surrounding regions. The role will include face to face group learning and assessment 3 days per week (27 hours). Face to face delivery equates to 19 hours of face to face classroom training with the remaining 8 hours allowance given for correction and minor administration procedures.

Position 2 required the successful candidate to deliver Manual Handling training and assessment to out Individual support students.

Candidates must hold a currently recognised TAE training qualification as well as at a minimum, a Certificate III in Ageing or equivalent qualification. In addition to this the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate vocational currency within the Aged Care field.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years vocational experience in aged care to demonstrate currency within the field.

Candidates must have sound communication and administrative skills as well as the ability to offer a professional degree of customer service to our clients.

Whilst this position requires someone who can work autonomously, you will enjoy the benefit of working closely with our state and national delivery staff and management located across Australia including Perth.

Depending on the availability and your suitability, there may be the further opportunity for full time work should you seek it.

To be eligible the position, candidates must have a current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, minimum of Certificate III Aged Care qualification, current drivers license as well as being prepared to undertake a Police Clearance check.

Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
