Part-Time Management Accountant/Office Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Management Accountant/Office Manager preferably with a background in commercial property management on a part-time basis 2-3 days/week. This hands-on role combines financial oversight with operational competencies, ensuring our office runs smoothly while delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Management Accounting:
· Prepare and analyse financial reports, with an emphasis on cashflow forecasting across commercial property portfolios.
· Month end close including balance sheet reconciliations, preparation & posting of journals and P&L variance analysis
· Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
· Collaborate closely with the Director to support financial decision making.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards, including preparation of quarterly BAS & annual FBT return.
· Liaise with the external Chartered Accounting firm for accounting queries and year end financial reporting.
Office Management:
· Supporting the Director with ad-hoc information requests and assisting with a productive and organised work environment.
· Act as a point of contact for external stakeholders and clients, ensuring excellent service delivery.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or qualified via experience. CA/CPA qualification is desirable.
· Proven hands-on experience in management accounting, preferably within the commercial property sector.
· Proficient in accounting software (MYOB AccountRight) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word)
· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
