The Company:

AAt Logic Accountants, we go beyond traditional accounting to provide our clients with forward-looking financial strategies that support growth and sustainability.

We are currently seeking a qualified Management Accountant to work on a Full-time basis to join our team of professionals immediately.

The Role:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering financial insight and strategic advice that guides decision-making across business structures, operations, and associated entities. You will ensure that financial systems, reporting frameworks, and operational practices are aligned with best practice and support long-term performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, examining, and analysing management reports, budgets, and financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Providing strategic financial advice on business structures, operational efficiency, and record-keeping compatibility requirements.
  • Analysing business operations, market trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments to project future performance and identify opportunities or risks.
  • Preparing financial forecasts, variance analysis, and management reports to support decision-making.
  • Recommending financial strategies by evaluating accounting and operational options, and advising on resource allocation.
  • Monitoring and summarising current financial status through management reporting, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow analysis.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls, policies, and procedures that support effective governance.
  • Guiding and supporting accounting staff by overseeing work allocation, reviewing outputs, and providing training where necessary.
  • Investigating and reconciling financial discrepancies through analysis of data and supporting documents.
  • Securing financial information and ensuring the integrity of accounting systems, databases, and records.
  • Developing and enhancing management reporting frameworks and accounting systems through the use of current technology and automation tools.
  • Preparing reports, manuals, and processes for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, ensuring alignment with management requirements.
  • Advising management on matters such as cost optimisation, profitability improvement, investment decisions, and the financial implications of strategic choices.
  • Liaising with internal tax agents by preparing required financial reports for company and personal income tax returns.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Relevant qualification
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
  • High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence, accuracy and urgency
  • Evidence of a genuine desire to work in a team environment
