About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and organised Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you'll help attract and recruit top talent to fuel our organisation's growth. You'll provide administrative support across the recruitment process and manage end-to-end recruitment for junior and entry-level roles. Working closely with hiring managers and our People & Culture team, you'll ensure a smooth, efficient, and professional recruitment experience for candidates and managers alike.

This role is perfect for someone passionate about recruitment and eager to grow their HR career within a dynamic, future-focused aged care organisation. Importantly, you'll embrace how AI can support faster responses, better outcomes, and reduced administration. You'll actively seek opportunities to adopt, experiment with, and provide feedback on AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, v0) to improve processes and contribute to a culture of safe, ethical, and purposeful AI use.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and support end-to-end recruitment activities, from job advert development to onboarding
  • Manage recruitment for high volume, entry-level roles, balancing quality and speed of hire
  • Partner with hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners to understand workforce needs and deliver effective recruitment outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to support workforce planning
  • Oversee multiple open vacancies simultaneously, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear, timely, and professional communication
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the People & Culture team (reporting, compliance, system updates)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including safe and effective use of AI tools to streamline recruitment and HR processes

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR coordination
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment processes and competing priorities within tight timeframes
  • Proficiency with HRIS, ATS, and recruitment-related systems, with adaptability to new technologies
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with a genuine interest in developing your career within HR and Talent Acquisition
