Key Responsibilities

  • General administration and reception activities between the Deer Park, Sunshine and Werribee areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with visitors and callers.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to appropriate staff.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Manage and organise departmental documents, files, and records.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and appointments.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:
  • Enter data into relevant databases and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as a liaison between the department and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinating departmental events and meetings.
  • Allocation and issuing of work orders to appointed subcontractors.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
  • Assist managers and team members as required, including organising schedules and providing administrative support.
  • Support general office upkeep and manage stock orders for all My Way locations, ensuring a clean and organised work environment.

Required knowledge, skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the values of dignity, respect, inclusion empowerment, confidentiality and strength-based practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring customer and staff confidentiality.

Desirable knowledge, skills and experience

  • Experience in the NDIS or similar social services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of services to people with a disability, or Psychosocial Disability providing a professional and positive outlook and commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities.
