True Synergy is seeking a capable and confident Business Support Officer to support our portfolio of member-based associations. This role blends high-level executive assistance with member services and operational support, perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with committees and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

About the Role

In this multifaceted role, you will:

  • Provide executive-level support to management committees and sub-committees, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking.
  • Deliver end-to-end operational and administrative support to help clients meet their goals and serve their members effectively.
  • Act as the go-to liaison between stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and follow-through.
  • Maintain governance standards and support compliance processes.
  • Keep member databases accurate and up to date.
  • Draft and circulate communications via email platforms, websites, and social media (primarily LinkedIn).
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes that drive efficiency and enhance member experience.

About You

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
  • Proven experience juggling multiple tasks with calm efficiency and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid technical skills, including confidence with Microsoft Office, Canva, Mailchimp, databases, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience working in or with member-based organisations is a bonus—but not essential.
