This role is a permanent, full time opportunity in Coorparoo working with an allied health provider with a network of clinics throughout Australia.

Prior experience working in a medical or allied health setting will be highly regarded, but not essential.

About the role

  • Providing administrative and customer service support to our patients over the phone, face to face and via email
  • Supporting the day to day operations of the clinic
  • Collaborating and supporting our other clinics in the Brisbane metro area
  • Scheduling appointments for our patients and optimising the appointment schedule for our practitioners
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Communicating with referring doctors and specialists and building strong relationships with our referral pathways
  • Ordering supplies for our clinic, including medical devices and parts as well as office & PPE supplies
  • Generating invoices, billing and collecting payments
  • Other general office duties as required

About you

  • Previous experience in customer service, office administration or healthcare administration
  • Strong computer skills
  • Problem solving ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced setting
  • Flexibility and agility in responding to patient enquiries
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
