We have a Coordinator opportunity in a large service is **Coorparoo**, where you'll be **managing leaders** and working under a **Lead Coordinator**.

**About the role**

Leading a team of four **Assistant Coordinators** and Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, under the guidance of a **Lead Coordinator**. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

**About the service**

This large service in Coorparoo has their own room, kitchen, and office, with an existing strong school relationship. This 36.25 hour per week role (including 5 admin hours) will be working as under the roof ratio, allowing you to move among the groups of students and team members.

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

- Enjoy working with kids
- Experience leading a team
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights
