YOUR NEW JOB
This is a big territory with even bigger potential. You are nurturing major mining clients across the Hunter, Gunnedah and Mudgee, supporting some of the biggest and most exciting projects in NSW. Reporting to the Eastern Region Mining Manager you will:
• Build and nurture long term mining relationships
• Develop and convert major capital sales opportunities
• Work end to end on tenders and proposals
• Partner closely with local branches and national mining team
• Stay close to the customer, the pits and the market
• Hand over delivery and service to branch teams so you can stay focused on pipeline and growth
The bonus structure is real. The team has seen strong earn-outs for years because they reward effort, teamwork and results, but you also get out what you put in here. Sometimes that means quoting after hours or taking a call when your competitor is on the couch. That effort pays you back through pipeline strength, customer trust and BIG bonuses.
ABOUT YOU
• Sales experience in mining, heavy equipment or capital industrial solutions
• Comfort managing long sales cycles and complex deals
• Strong commercial judgement and tender capability
• Hunger, drive and the ability to work independently
• A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in your customers
Ideally have a technical background with desired tertiary qualifications in mining, mechanical or electrical engineering, marketing or business, but not essential
