This role involves leading and delivering key financial and strategic initiatives that align with the organisation's mission and strategy. It includes oversight of financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and transaction processing for subsidiary entities. The position requires cross-departmental collaboration, process development, and strong internal controls to ensure operational effectiveness and financial integrity.
About You
You are a focused and reliable finance professional who delivers results while building strong working relationships. You communicate well, are open to feedback, and continuously look to improve. With solid experience in transactional accounting, month-end processes, and preparing financial reports, you can analyse data and explain variances clearly. You manage your time well, meet deadlines, and adapt easily to new processes. You're confident using Excel and bring strong advisory and influencing skills to support your team and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver key projects and initiatives that align with and advance the organisation's Mission and Strategy.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, compliance with international accounting standards, and management of external audits and tax obligations.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process and report on monthly financial performance and key metrics.
- Oversee payroll, vendor payments, bank disbursements, and monitor cash requirements and payment gateways for subsidiary entities.
- Develop and implement financial processes and internal controls, ensuring compliance with delegation of authority and governance standards.
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration, contribute positively to team outcomes, and uphold the organisation's values and culture.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, consolidation, and budgeting processes
- Depth of expertise in your area of financial specialisation
- Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, budgets, and procedures
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Experience with Workday, Microsoft GP, and Power BI (highly regarded)
