About the Position
As a Payroll Officer, you will provide a timely operational payroll service to CDU stakeholders within a highly customer-focused environment. Reporting to the Manager Payroll Operations, you will support the Payroll Operations Manager and fellow Payroll Officers with daily business functions and providing an efficient and accurate payroll service. If appointed at level 6 you will also maintain the university's superannuation requirements.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Completion of a relevant degree in payroll or a related field, without subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to use Technology One, Ascender Pay or similar payroll system to process end-to-end payroll tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads with minimal supervision to meet regular and conflicting deadlines.
- Exhibited knowledge of the regulatory requirements relevant to payroll and human resources, especially regarding processes, procedures, and governance.
- Ability to receive and handle sensitive information in a proficient and confidential manner.
- High level verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach to interactions with team members, staff, clients, and other stakeholders
- Ability to engage in effective and proactive teamwork, recognizing the skills of others, and utilising cooperative approaches.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $73,502 - $84,914 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,997 - $99,349 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
