Accounts Officer

Farmer Group – Virginia, SA

Farmer Group is a family owned and operated horticultural and FMCG business, proudly based in Virginia, South Australia. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Officer to join our finance team at our head office.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing end to end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, supplier reconciliation, and assisting with month end reporting. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile supplier invoices and payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supplier accounts
  • Assist with month-end reporting and expense tracking
  • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve queries
  • Support the finance team and directors

About You:

  • Experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
