The Opportunity

We are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Wilson Security's Head Office in Rivervale. This full-time, Monday-to-Friday working between the hours of 0530 to 1330 with a shared on call function.  The role offers a competitive salary and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently schedule and roster security personnel across multiple sites.
  • Manage and maintain workforce rosters, ensuring compliance with site requirements.
  • Identify recruitment needs and provide leave coverage.
  • Allocate and manage ad hoc work, minimizing payroll errors.
  • Track and report on workforce trends, including overtime and dropped shifts.
  • Liaise with the National Operations Centre (NOC) to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Provide frontline support for employee and client inquiries.
  • Lead ongoing workforce planning and optimization projects.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in scheduling and rostering, preferably in security or similar industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A thorough understanding of the Security Services Industry Award (preferred).
  • Experience managing high-volume rostering (approximately 180 staff).
  • Proficiency in rostering systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and workforce planning.
