Unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a transformative Master Plan for a leading education institution. Experience in social infrastructure desirable but not essential.

Our client, is embarking on a major new Master Plan to guide the strategic direction of its development and operations over the next 10 years+.

They are now seeking an experienced
Program Manager
or
Development Manager
who has strong front end master planning experience to lead and coordinate this high-profile initiative based in Sydney. Reporting to the Program Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for driving program management across all phases, aligning workstreams, and managing interdependencies, risks, and resources across the infrastructure portfolio.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading large-scale front-end programs ideally in education, urban development, or complex social infrastructure projects.

You will be highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, program delivery, and strategic planning, with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary consultant teams and deliver high-quality documentation for governance and executive decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in program management of large-scale, complex projects in education, urban development, or institutional settings
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Urban Planning, Construction, or similar field
  • Strong expertise in strategic program planning, risk management, and governance processes
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with senior leadership, government, and external partners
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to prepare reports/presentations for executive audiences
  • High-level contract and consultant management experience
  • Familiarity with the institution or government governance and planning processes (desirable)
