Male Disability Support Worker – Melton West

We're seeking a compassionate and proactive Male Disability Support Worker to provide community access support to a male client living in Melton West.

The client is diagnosed with Moderate Intellectual Disability, Schizo-affective Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression.

About You

  • Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Experience supporting clients with behavioural or mental health needs
  • Understanding of behaviour support plans and psychosocial disabilities
  • Empathetic, patient, and confident working one-on-one

Client Interests:

  • Enjoys arts and crafts and going out for coffee – ideal for a support worker who can engage in these activities and encourage community participation.

Make a real difference by supporting someone to engage with their community and improve their wellbeing.

Shifts

Monday & Wednesday - 11am - 2:00pm (must be available to complete both shifts on an ongoing basis)

Your Certificates and Licences

  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current)
  • Working with Children Check (Current)
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle
  • NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You
  • First Aid and CPR (Current)

Pay Rates (SCHADS Award B2.1 – Casual):

  • Base hourly: $43.23
  • Afternoon shift (ends 8pm–midnight, Mon–Fri): $47.55
  • Active night shift (after midnight or before 6am, Mon–Fri): $48.41
  • Saturday: $60.52
  • Sunday: $77.81
  • Public holiday: $95.10
