About the opportunity

  • Social Worker, Grade 1, permanent, full-time position
  • Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital
  • Provide quality client - focused care to patients, their families and carers, using a holistic approach

  • Eligibility for membership to the AASW
  • The ability to learn and utilise tools and frameworks to undertake comprehensive psychosocial assessments and timely interventions to facilitate the holistic discharge planning of patients.
  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
